Dusty Lewis 
President

Dusty graduated from Texas Tech University in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance. During his time at Texas Tech, Dusty was part of the Finance Association and the Real Estate Organization, and off campus he volunteered with several organizations and began his career in banking. Currently, Dusty is a Vice President with J.P. Morgan Private Bank in Fort Worth serving clients in the metroplex and across West Texas. Away from the office, Dusty sits on the Board of Directors for Arts Fort Worth, Club Council for Boys & Girls Club and is Head Coach of his son’s baseball team with Keller Youth Association. Dusty grew up in Lubbock, TX where he met his wife Ashley at Texas Tech. Today, they live in Keller, TX and are proud parents of Westin and Bailey. Together they are avid travelers and enjoy exploring new locales. In his free time, Dusty enjoys playing golf, good wine, reading and sports. 

Fun Fact: Dusty is an Ordained Minister and has performed weddings for several friends.

Jason Baen
Vice President

Jason graduated from Texas Tech University with a BA in International Business after 5 glorious football seasons in December 2007.  Following graduation, he began his professional career in the Adult Beverage Industry, which would later bring him back to Lubbock, where he would earn his Professional MBA in 2019 from Tech. His experiences across the Adult Beverage Industry ranges from Fine Wine & Spirits to Premium Beers. Currently, Jason works for Munich-based Paulaner Brewery as a Regional Sales Manager for one of the leading regions in North America. When Jason is not sampling out quality ‘Biers’ to the world, or chasing the next great experience, he can usually be found wandering the wonderful Art Galleries, Museums & Trails across Texas


 

Zack Jameson
Treasurer

Zack graduated from Texas Tech in the spring of 2008, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.  During his time at Texas Tech he was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi fraternity and volunteered for the March of Dimes.  Zack is a Vice President of Mortgage at First Financial Bank in Fort Worth.  Zack grew up in Azle Texas.  Zack met his wife Kate during his time at Texas Tech and was married shortly after her graduation in 2009.  They are the proud parents of Oliver and Violet and live in Fort Worth.  Zack enjoys watching his favorite sports teams, playing video games, and spending time on the lake with his family.      

John Bator  
Secretary

John graduated from Texas Tech University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.  During his time at Texas Tech,  John was part of the Marketing and Finance Association as well as an active member of Tau Kappa Epsilon (TKE) fraternity.  Later,  John returned to school and earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Texas Christian University.  John has made a career in the financial industry.  Currently,  John is a Vice President with JP Morgan Private Bank in Fort Worth serving clients in the metroplex and across West Texas.  Away from the office John lives in Keller, TX and has three very active children along with his wife of 25 years,  Christin whom he met at Texas Tech University.    John is an active member of White’s Chapel Methodist Church in Southlake.  To relax,  John enjoys playing golf,  going to the gym and trying new restaurants.

Beth Castiglione  
Social & Events 

Beth Castiglione graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations, and later in 2015 a Master of Science in Agricultural Communications. While at Tech, Beth was a member of the Ranch Horse Team and was involved with Sigma Alpha and various other student organizations. Beth now works for a digital advertising company in Fort Worth.

Lupe Vega
Marketing

Lupe Vega graduated from Texas Tech in 2021 with a Bachelor of Interior Design and Minor in Architecture. She was a first generation student but is the youngest of three siblings to graduate from Texas Tech. While in school, she held positions within interior design student professional organizations in which she got to execute and plan a West Texas Design Expo for students and professionals across the state to network. Lupe currently is a Project Manager and Graphics Director for a boutique interior design firm in Fort Worth that focuses on multi-family renovations and new construction properties across the country. Outside of her creative projects, you can see her playing with her Austrailian Shepherd, enjoying time with family, and watching rom-coms repeatedly with a boba drink at hand. 

Sinclaire Newby Scholarships

Sinclaire graduated from Texas Tech University in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Communications and in May 2018 with a Master of Science in Agricultural Communications. While at Texas Tech, she was the President of the Student Agricultural Council and showed horses on the Texas Tech Equestrian Team. Since graduation, she has worked in the water and natural resources industry. Currently, she works as the Communications Manager for Johnson County Special Utility District, one of Texas's largest water and wastewater providers. Sinclaire has served on several regional and statewide water industry committees, including the Advisory Committee for the 4-H Water Ambassadors, the Water Efficiency Network of North Texas, and the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts' Information and Education Committee. In her free time, Sinclaire volunteers for Texas Parks and Wildlife and is a Fort Worth Audubon Society and Cleburne Rotary Club member. Sinclaire is from Midlothian, TX, and currently resides in Cleburne, TX. 

Fun Fact: Sinclaire was the assistant to the Masked Rider in 2017-2018 and traveled to events, games, and appearances across Texas with the mascot. 

Garrett Nichols
Community Service

Garrett Nichols graduated from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business Administration (RCOBA) in 2016 with a double major in Finance and Accounting. As a student at Texas Tech, he was actively involved in Christians at Tech, various intramural sports and multiple RCOBA business clubs all while working part-time at Prosperity Bank as a teller and then a personal banker.  Garrett’s favorite memories from when he was a student at Texas Tech and living in Lubbock involve the numerous sporting events he attended and the cheese fries at Caprock Café. Since graduation, he has worked at multiple Red Raider run businesses including First Financial Bank and Wildcat Lending where he is currently a Loan Officer. He is an active real estate investor and involved in various real estate organizations, mostly related to the Fix & Flips he finances. Additionally, he has been involved in numerous philanthropic activities upon graduation, including Big Brothers Big Sisters and United Way. In his free time, Garrett enjoys watching sporting events, specifically, cheering on any Texas Tech team, the Boston Celtics, and the Dallas Stars. He and his wife, also a Texas Tech graduate, reside in Arlington, Texas.

Leah Boom
Membership 

Leah graduated from Texas Tech in May 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sport Science. While at Tech, she was the English Team Captain, and later the Vice President of the Texas Tech Equestrian Team. After graduation, she returned to San Antonio and worked in an Emergency Department for four years. During this time, she earned her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University. Work brought her to Fort Worth in 2019 and she’s currently the Manager of Support Services, the Peri-Operative Business Manager, and EMS Liaison for Texas Health Southwest and Texas Health Clearfork hospitals. In her spare time, Leah supports local non-profits by holding a leadership position within the Junior League of Fort Worth. She also continues her passion for riding and showing hunter/jumper horses.

Fun Fact: Leah enjoys British murder mysteries, plays cello, and has two bunnies.


 

Roy DuBose
Special Council

A Red Raider since 1969, Roy had an extended and undistinguished academic stay at Texas Tech.  In the midst of a successful career focused on consultive sales across multiple industries, he contributed to the Texas Tech Alumni Association/Austin Chapter helping to organize and execute numerous events bringing Red Raiders together both locally and Statewide.His three sons all attended Texas Tech while he lived in Lubbock, serving as President of The Lubbock Youth Football League for 13 years.  Currently professionally retired, Roy is a Red Raider every day and always welcomes any opportunity to promote and embrace Texas Tech.

Will Carpenter
Board Member

Will Carpenter is a third-generation Red Raider and graduated from Texas Tech in 2021 with a B.B.A. in Finance and Certificate in Commercial Banking from the Rawls College of Business. While at Texas Tech, he served as President of the Rawls Dean's Student Council and was a member of the Rawls Banking Association and Scovell Business Leadership Program. He currently works as the Senior Credit Analyst for Grandview Bank, a community bank based in the Fort Worth area. Will also serves on the Rawls Recent Alumni Board in addition to the TTAA Fort Worth Chapter Board. Will is a member of Trinity River Baptist Church in Fort Worth where he serves as a Deacon and like to read, run, and watch sports in his spare time. 

Traci Odom
Board Member

Traci is married to Bruce and they are both Texas Tech alumni, and longtime TTAA Members... they have six children: two Texas Tech Red Raiders, one UT/UT Law, two Pepperdine Waves, and one Lubbock Christian/St. Augustine. They are proud grandparents as well, and their grandkids are enrolled in the Texas Tech Legacy Program with the TTAA. Traci graduated Magna cum Laude, from Texas Tech in 2002 with a Bachelor’s of English Literature/Language and a minor in Communication Studies. Bruce and Traci also have one spoiled Morkie, Fitzgerald. Traci has been a Professional Real Estate agent since 2015 (after working for many years at Texas Tech University in Development and the TTAA as Director of Membership) and is currently with Keller Williams Fort Worth. She says, “I love waking up every day, knowing I have the opportunity to help my clients realize their dreams, and move them forward to where they want to be. There’s a strong Lubbock-DFW connection in real estate.” Traci’s hobbies include watching Texas Tech sports, travel, reading, visiting local wineries, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. 

Bruce Odom
Board Member

Bruce is an Agronomics Solutions Advisor with BASF Corporation. He has worked in the cotton business for more than thirty years. Bruce currently serves 93 counties in Texas. Bruce graduated from Texas Tech University in 1986, with a Bachelor of Ag Education degree. Bruce and Traci have been married since 2012, and are both Texas Tech alumni, and longtime TTAA Members... they have six children: two Texas Tech Red Raiders, one UT/UT Law, two Pepperdine Waves, and one Lubbock Christian/St. Augustine. They are proud grandparents as well, and their grandkids are enrolled in the Texas Tech Legacy Program with the TTAA. Bruce and Traci also have one spoiled Morkie, Fitzgerald. When not out in the cotton fields with customers, Bruce enjoys golf, fishing, watching and attending Texas Tech sports events and Texas Rangers games. He and Traci enjoy entertaining family and friends, TTAA events, and exploring new restaurants and wineries in the DFW area. 

Bradley Skinner
Board Member

Bradley is a Texas Tech 2012 graduate and has a B.S. in Animal Science. While at Tech, he was the 50th Masked Rider for the 2011-2012 year which was an amazing experience and where he met his wife, Lisa. Bradley currently lives in Poolville and is the Safety and Facilities Manager for United Ag & Turf which has 48 locations throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and New Mexico. In his spare time, he enjoys camping with family, hunting, and showing horses. Bradley and his wife have a four year old son named Raylan. 

Fun fact: Bradley was the first transfer student to be named Masked Rider.
